My response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Wordle #88 – I think I’ve used all the words!
Through an aperture
In my darkest apathy,
A fanatic sings
A haunting song of dread,
Reaching inside my head.
With a scratch of nails
From the track-traced and pin-pricked vein
Of distant empyreal azure,
A bloodcrow
Attempts to throw
An ancient whalebone
For inspiration –
But my apathy
Can’t reach it.

Your use of the words is masterful. You made the insertion of the words seamless in a potent poem.

It speaks to me of dealing with doubt. Admissibly, I’m rife with that.
Beautifully written.
