No curtains open,
no music plays,
no corps de ballet
on the rocky stage.
The only spotlight
is the sun,
to highlight
the faint wisps
that twist
and pirouette
drift upwards
and beyond:
clouds dancing
on a blue background.

My response to Sue Vincent’s Daily Echo Thursday photo prompt – Wisp #writephoto
I hadn’t read any of the replies on Sue’s blog when I did my own post Strange, but I chose to do a poem, too. I’d bet that you looked at the picture and that’s the way it came out, too.

All I could see in those wisps of clouds was people dancing!

The wisps do indeed look like dainty feet dancing. Great take on the prompt.
