My response to Carpe Diem Weekend Meditation #33 Troiku … Two White Butterflies
In this weekend’s meditation, our challenge is to create a ‘fusion haiku’ from two given haiku and then create a Troiku with our ‘fusion haiku’.
The two haiku from which to make our ‘fusion haiku’ are both by Matsuo Basho:
temple bells die out
the fragrant blossoms remain
a perfect evening
will we meet again
here at your flowering grave –
two white butterflies

I just read Ken’s. Yours and his are both wonderful, but it’s amazing how different they are. I really like “temple bells and butterflies
