My daily response to Carpe Diem Summer Retreat 2018 Finding the Way
At Carpe Diem, we are almost at the end of the traditional seasonal retreat: a period of 30 days in which the goal is to write a daily haiku or tanka about a theme. In this year’s Summer Retreat the theme is ‘Finding the Way’.
I love the image and sounds of ‘droplets trickling and bouncing’ Kim and the garden in your photograph looks very inviting 🙂💖🌳 xxx

Thank you, Xenia. It’s the Plantation Garden behind the Catholic cathedral in Norwich. It’s a little gem, created in a chalk quarry by the Victorian gentleman Henry Trevor. They have open-air cinema there too! here’s a link to their website:

Kim, I enjoyed your 30 day journey. Your word paint pictures even without the pictures, but these too are an added bonus. Beautiful collection of haiku.
