an overcast sky
threatening and ribbed with cloud
always a surprise
with sudden bursts of sunlight
or tides of silvery moon

My response to Poets United Midweek Motif: Light
Sumana is hosting this week and she has brought us a rich range of quotations and poems about light. She says that our words can create both darkness and light, but for today we are sticking to light. Sumana asks us to choose any parts of speech we prefer our ‘light’ to be in – noun, adjective, verb – to write about whatever light means to us.
