My response to Poets United Midweek Motif: Changes

Susan and Sumana bring us the aroma of change this midweek, with the sad news of their departure as hosts on 18th December. They have shared poems by Rilke, Mary Oliver and Naomi Shihab Nye, as well as extracts from a Tagore song and the following from ‘Images for Godard’ by Adrienne Rich:

‘the mind of the poet is changing
the moment of change is the only poem.’

  1. The haiku robins write, I will certainly read. I rarely see them on snow here, except a little bit in spring. At my Mom’s house, we already had chickadee writing, with a little seed in the letters.
