Moon Mythology

Magnetised by northern stars,
earth and moon dance together,
tripping the light in any weather,
one in shades of green and azure,
the other radiant in shining silver,
casting moon shadows on the water,
son of Zeus and Hera
and Hyperion and Theia’s daughter.

My response to dVerse Poets Pub Quadrille: Poetical Magnetism

De is our host this Monday and she’s looking for magnetic quadrilles of 44 words, not including the title.

  1. They are a beautiful matched set, dancing in each other’s arms. Kim, for some reason your poem isn’t showing up in Mr. Linky, even though when I click on your link it takes me to dVerse….

  2. Love the cosmological magnetism written of here…and the Greek gods invoked in the concluding lines. The green, the azure, the shining silver, the shadows…..I do believe an artist could pain right from our words! Actually, your words are the palette itself!
