The second day of an interest in etymology

Etymology #2

Harmony: a noun, a melodic word,

The pleasant-sounding sequence

Of music in a chord.

Three syllables denote euphony,

Composition, musical structure,

Creation of a symphony.

A pleasing congruence of parts,

Harmony is concord, goodwill,

The meeting of minds and hearts.

Without it there would be no unity;

The world would be in discord,

Vanquished by cacophony.
