With a murmur
Of whirring wings
An eddy of starlings
Whirls into view
Swooping and diving
Waves of Indian ink
Staining the sky
Separating
Converging
Fluid and airy
Pointillist abstracts
Helices and pirouettes
Of an aerial ballet
With a murmur
Of whirring wings
An eddy of starlings
Whirls into view
Swooping and diving
Waves of Indian ink
Staining the sky
Separating
Converging
Fluid and airy
Pointillist abstracts
Helices and pirouettes
Of an aerial ballet
Love this Kim! Beautiful! X

You & I seem to undulate in parallel poetic colorings; great minds & all that. Murmurations arena of the sweetest mysteries in nature.

There must be something about birds. There are so many in our garden and I love to watch them.

I like the line “Waves of India Ink.” Makes me think of Lewis Carroll’s riddle “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?” Although that’s not a starling.

So few words, so beautifully done. The image of the India ink….and the pointillist abstracts are quite wonderful!
