Pigeon Steps in the Dark

Insomnia

And restlessness reign

Filling the night

With closed-eye hallucinations

Moon, stars and black holes

Cast their shadows on your face

Ticklish webs of confusion

Forcing you to face phantoms

Leave the covers’ comfort

Play grandmother’s footsteps

In fizzing phosphene

Pigeon steps in the dark
