The Last Star

The last star pierces

The early morning sky

Silvery moonlight

Sparkles on fresh snow

On the top branches

Of a Christmas tree

An angel reaches up

Plucks the star from the clouds

And hangs it on a bough

Just a little seasonal whimsy before I go to Wednesday Bounce and Rhyme to sing nursery rhymes and Christmas songs, and read Father Christmas Needs a Wee!
