Also very apt to the New Forest where I am walking with the doggerels now.
Read out a few times and it has a resonance.

Thanks Graeme. Many years ago I took my daughter to the New Forest. She was about four or five then and loved horses and ponies, so she was in her element. I like horses a lot, but trees are my thing, so we both had a wonderful time!

I like the idea of securing time with leaves! It conjures up all sorts of possibilities.

A beautiful description in poetic form the changing of the seasons. Watching the colors and the trees changing their coating until all the leaves are gone for another Spring. Good poem. – jk
