My response to Carpe Diem Theme Week (6) 7 Jane’s last haiku
In the last episode of the tribute theme week for Jane Reichhold, Chèvrefeuille has asked us to share our memories and haiku, tanka or other Japanese poetry form about Jane Reichhold. He also shared Jane’s last haiku, her Jisei:
with the moon
night too disappears
into the ocean

beautiful wren
in shadow of undergrowth
turns up her tail
bursts into powerful song
river of notes rich and strong
