My response to Carpe Diem Special Tribute In Memoriam Jane Reichhold (1937-2016)
Jen (BlogItorLoseIt) wrote a tribute for Jane Reichhold, which included tanka by Jane, to which Kristjaan added a selection of her haiku, to inspire us to write our own tributes. My haiku was inspired by the following:
art is exact
like a woman in love
pencil and error
a blue-lined grid of wants
where death is unnamed

beauty’s in the soul
written in poetic words
untouched by death
