My response to Carpe Diem Universal Jane #10 New Year’s Day

In a new episode of Universal Jane, Chèvrefeuille has shared a series of haiku by Jane, taken from New Year section of the online version of her Dictionary, as well as one of his own tanka:

last day of the year
walking a country lane
to the end of it

filling
the glass with candlelight
champagne

New Year’s snow
a radiance in dark pines
white full moon
