heat intensity
dispersing and forging glass
in an artist’s mind
Kim M. Russell, 2017

glass sculpture by R. Loy
My response to Carpe Diem #1230 glass sculpture (R.Loy, The Netherlands)
Our visual prompt for today’s episode on ‘modern art’ is a prize won by Chèvrefeuille in 1998. He says that you can see all kinds of things in this glass sculpture, which he compares to haiku: everyone can sense a different scene by reading the same haiku and this sculpture does the same thing.
Such Fantastic possibilities! 😎😎😎

Extraordinary haiku/senryu in which I sense the beauty of glass while forged in fire … awesome.
