a swinging gate
on both sides the flowers
open – close
an offering of pollen
between scented petal lips

My response to Carpe Diem’s Tan Renga Challenge #110 swinging gate
The goal of the ‘Tan Renga Challenge’ is to create a Tan Renga from a given haiku by an ancient or modern haiku poet. For this Tan Renga Challenge we have a haiku written by Jane Reichhold, taken from her online ‘dictionary of haiku’ from the division Summer and sub-division Plants:
a swinging gate
on both sides the flowers
open – close

Reblogged this on Frank J. Tassone and commented:
#Haiku Happenings #4: Kim’s latest tan #renga based on a haiku by Jane Reichhold for Carpe Diem!
