carried on the wind
pampas grass and summer birds
waving our goodbyes
carried on the wind
from tops of snowy mountains
chilled scent of winter
pampas grass and summer birds
become memories
feathery plumes
waving our goodbyes
until the cherries blossom
long dark days ahead

My response to Carpe Diem #1553 waving the pampas grass (crossroads)
Today we have a crossroads episode in which we have been given haiku by two different haiku poets, with the challenge of creating a fusion ku and, if we want to, we can also create troiku with our fusion ku:
Waving the pampas grass,
At the Shinjuku station,
I said goodbye.
Yamaguchi Seison (1892-1988)
The migratory birds
Make the wind blowing down to Asaka
From mountains frequently.
Kawahigashi Hekigoto (1873-1937)
What a great challenge.
