My response to Carpe Diem’s Tan Renga Wednesday: (8) New Year’s Morning

Yoday we have a new episode of the special feature ‘Tan Renga Wednesday’, in which the challenge is to create a Tan Renga from a given haiku by adding the two-lined stanza (approx. 7-7 syllables). We have a haiku by Jane Reichhold to work with, which has been taken from her online Dictionary of Haiku.
