This is my first contribution to Jacqueline’s ‘Echoes of My Neighbourhood’ challenge. Every Thursday we share photos of our neighbourhood and link them to Jacqueline’s post. I’m looking forward to seeing all the different places in which WordPress bloggers live, work and play!
When I go out of the gate at the bottom of our back garden, this is what I see:
The moorings all belong to private owners, although some of our neighbours have boats and moorings. We just have the view, which is enough for me! Ducks, swans and kingfishers are frequent visitors, as well as dragonflies, frogs and other wildlife.
I haven’t always lived in the countryside; I spent some of my life in cities. I prefer the peace and wildlife here but I do miss the variety and culture of a city.
