a cliché poem
Back to black:
the black comedy
of a black soul
black as night
in a black hole
a black sheep
blackballed
and blackmailed
in the black
raven black
ink black
paint it black
on a black day
under a black cloud
black and proud
black is beautiful
black is magic
Who are you
To call the kettle black?

Ha! Depp Purple – a Johnny Depp / Deep Purple tribute band – play a storming version of that. Allegedly. G:)

Hey! Nice one, that!
What exactly does cliche poetry mean?

It’s poetry that is based purely on cliches – sayings that are over-used in everyday speaking and writing – platitudes that display a lack of original thought reworked into something a little more original – I hope!
