In the early morning
Silvery moonlight
Frost glitters
Ice splitters
Like diamonds on a tree
Below the branches
Pearly flakes drift
Deer skitter
Birds flitter
Below the naked tree
Whose spindly boughs
Are clad in snow
His red breast glows
The robin in the garden
