I am down to one poem a day due to working on the second draft of a story for a competition and preparing to revise Joe and Nelly. Today I decided to write a response to Carpe Diem #909 Sweetness
Simple and yellow
Primroses are sweet flowers
In a woodland glade
Shyly dancing in meadows
Candied adorning a cake

candied primroses — a new one on me. Have to try that. I picked some today already, about two months early.

I did so love gathering primroses from the railway banks when I was a girl. Sweet poem.
