My response to Carpe Diem Tokubetsudesu #69 An Essay About Real Love – this chain of haiku describes the scene at the bottom of my garden

In the wild garden
innocent snowdrops embrace
a wizened plum tree
a wizened plum tree
raises blossomless branches
snowdrops at its roots
snowdrops at its roots
give the ancient plum tree love
hope for spring blossom

Even here in Canada snowdrops have peeked through the ground this February. Beautifully written.

Beautiful how you show nature making love to each other…haiku does give us that opportunity to notice it more.
