Tasseomancy

My response to Carpe Diem #928 Extra-Sensory Perception (and Common Sense)

Great Aunt Rose was married to a Romany and learned to read the tea leaves. After her husband died, she lodged in a small room, with a curtain around her bed, like a bed in a gypsy caravan. She had a crystal ball but preferred to read the leaves. I was very young at the time so she never read mine. I wonder what she would have seen.

In this world of instant coffee and teabags, does anyone still read the leaves?
