The splendour of stars
Studding a night sky
More alive and richly
Coloured than the day
Sets us dreaming
Of the universe
A stardust collection
Comets and collisions
Things we cannot see
We are just passing
In the scheme of things
Collecting poetry
Wherever we find it
Not afraid to make
The odd mistake.
