Flickers, buzzes
Like a fly zig-zagging
Across the sky – thunder rumbles
Softly.

I love your use of ‘softly’. It brings the storm to such a gentle and unexpected climax.

It was the recent storm that inspired this. It was raucous and wild for ages and then just as I got our of bed to watch, it just petered out with a few crackles of lightning. 🙂
