Love and Preparation

My reponse to Carpe Diem Theme Week #4 (7 ): Latifa Prayer lines 6 & 7: “I love” and “I am prepared”

 

For the ‘I love’ prompt, I have chosen a tanka I posted in February:

Once an innocent,

delicate, blossoming bud,

love suddenly comes alive,

exploding like an atom

expanding our universe.

The haiku for the ‘I am prepared’ prompt is a new one:

Left hand and right hand

touch fingertips in a kiss

for meditation
