My response to Carpe Diem #1030 path
We have another inspirational quote, this time from Haiku family member Hamish Managua Gunn of the Tumblr blog “haiku forest”: “Ah…and then there’s the path, always the path, there, to concentrate on.”
breathing in forest,
wet fox in head-high nettles,
firm path underfoot,
I follow fallen pine cones,
exhale fragrance of freedom

This exudes the fine feelings one experiences – I like the fox very much, and the imagrty you conjured reminded me of an exact location just like that!

Whenever I go for walks in our neighbourhood, I rarely get to see foxes but I can always smell them in the undergrowth. When I visit my daughter in London, we seem to see them everywhere!
