My response to Carpe Diem #1042 peace
Another prompt from Jane Reichhold’s saijiki “A Dictionary of Haiku”, is ‘peace’, mentioned as a modern kigo in the New Years section of her saijiki. Chèvrefeuille has given us examples of Jane’s haiku and one of his own:

the bell voices
out of our stillness
a wish for peace

peace on earth
watching the full moon
alone

back from the temple
stretched out on the floor
how peaceful you are
