I have been
watching every day
to see you
on your way
to work or to meet a friend –
watching without end.
I have been
waiting for a sign
just a word
or a line
only a glimpse through this slit.
Suddenly you’re there – that’s it.

My response to Sue Vincent – Daily Echo Thursday photo prompt – Glimpsed #writephoto

Reads almost like a very disturbing-romance.
Well done.

I agree with Dorna… it is a vaguely unsettling piece, Kim.

I feel like there’s a backstory in this one, Kim. Perhaps a short story or flash fiction? So who is you and what happens next!?

This kind of links up to a novel I’m right in the middle of writing.

There must be something wrong with me, I didn’t find this creepy, just very intense. Mind you, when you think about it, that borders on the creepy anyway. Great emotional poem, Kim.
