My response to Carpe Diem #1074 knitting wool
Today Chèvrefeuille has given us another nice tool for art: knitting wool, from which we can create wonderful woollen clothes, puppets, spider web artwork, pockets for plants and ‘Yarn Bombing’, a new kind of playing with knitting wool to decorate trees or other objects, such as buses and caravans. It’s up to us to create/write a haiku or tanka on knitting wool! Here’s an example, ‘knitted’ by the man himself:

Once upon a time I was an inveterate knit – you’d always find me in the corner at parties, knitting to Led Zeppelin, Genesis and Yes!

Thank you! If I wasn’t so busy writing, I think I’d be tempted to take up knitting again!
