My response to Carpe Diem #1076 camera
Today’s prompt is ‘camera’, another creative tool. Some of us use photos to create haiga (poetry + image) or to make our posts more attractive to read, and they give us the opportunity to remember a moment as short as the sound of a pebble thrown into water, and to create haiku (or tanka) later on.

tokens of mortality–so true. It happens that, as I age, more and more (most?) of those photos in those boxes are of people now dead. Yikes.

I also have a small collection of my grandparents’ photographs, some of which go back a couple of generations.
