My response to Carpe Diem #1076 clay
In this regular prompt of tools for writing and creativity, Chèvrefeuille has inspired us with clay, which was always used for pottery, but also for ‘writing’. He describes how clay tablets were used as a writing medium especially for writing in cuneiform.
Wow!

I looked for a pottery group in our area but the closest one is in Norwich. However, I am toying with weaving – the Worstead Weavers are based in our village hall, which is opposite our house! Close or what?! I quite fancy learning to weave and they have looms you can borrow. Something for the new year!
