the mid-winter moon
pressed its face to the window
breathed frost on the glass
envious of warm bodies
their limbs and hearts intertwined

My response to Carpe Diem #1099 Symphony No. 3 by Louise Farrenc
Today Chèvrefeuille has inspired us with music of another little known female musician, Louise Farrenc, a French composer, virtuosa pianist and teacher. He has chosen her Symphony No. 3, which inspired him to create the following tanka:
early morning
the first sun beams cherish my body
she awakens too
my sunshine, my cooling summer rain,
she the one I will love forever

That is a great title and I liked the verse very much. The moon really best ng envious the only step to accept.
