My response to Carpe Diem #1121 Growth
Today, as we travel on the Road to Santiago, the prompt is ‘growth’, which follows on from yesterday’s episode, in which Chèvrefeuille told us about the ‘seed exercise’ and spiritual growth. The Road to Santiago will teach us to “open up to the world from the deep dark earth, reach for the blue sky, feel the warmth of the sun on your face, your body … feel that you are alive”.
As Paulo performs the ‘seed exercise’, he says the following:
[…] “There I was, being reborn, wanting to be bathed both inside and out by the immense sun that was shining and that was asking me to continue to grow more.” […] (Source: The Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho)

Me too. It is freezing here and has just stopped snowing but the sky looks like it has another load to dump on us yet. Saying that, it completely fits my mood, as if the weather is grieving with me.
