rustles with a puff of wind
releases its seeds

My response to Carpe Diem #1120 Seed

I am late in responding to this prompt because of the death of my mother on Monday morning. Please appreciate that she is all I can think about at the moment and any writing I produce will reflect that in some way.

  1. Your tanka is very poetical ! I also have some honesty at home, and I love its name in English : “honesty”. It’s a very popular flower. In French, we call it “Monnaie du pape” : Pope coins… (I don’t know its value) 🙂
