My response to Carpe Diem #1204 Yaks (another reprise)
In another episode of this month’s journey to Tibet, Chèvrefeuille has revived a previous prompt on the theme of Yaks. He tells us that the Yak is a sign of the primal zodiac, similar to Taurus.
In Tibet the Yaks are used as mules. They can hold a lot of weight and are comfortable to ride on. They also are really great in walking through the rough landscape of the Himalayans.
