I managed to salvage a few. Birds and the squirrel are welcome to the rest. The squirrel is so entertaining! He or she has been trying to jump around with whole apples. When they get too heavy or unwieldy, s/he stops for a nibble, leaps a couple of times before stopping for another nibble.
