Sweeping the Park

traffic pulses
around a city park
in its heart
autumn is swept into piles
a colourful wheelbarrow

My response to Carpe Diem #1255 City Park

Today’s inspiration is a photo taken by Chèvrefeuille of a park not far from his home. I thought I’d try a little experimentation using a photograph of my own, which was taken in a park in Wroclaw last autumn.

    1. Thanks Kristjaan. Parks are important in cities. Out here in the middle of Norfolk we have so much nature that many people take it for granted. I was brought up in London and much of my life was spent in cities.
