rising in autumn
the universe is tranquil
lonely morning star

My response to Carpe Diem #1276 Tranquil
Today, our trip down memory lane takes us back to a special feature in which Chèvrefeuille introduced haiku by renowned and unknown haiku poets, entitled ‘Sparkling Stars’. The title of this episode has been taken from a haiku by Koyu-Ni, a Buddhist nun.
hana chirite shizuka ni narinu hito-gokoro
the blossoms have fallen:
our minds are now
tranquil

Beautifully tranquil and meditative haiku Kim and I love the image too ☺💖 xxx

Ah the Morning Star … it’s always a joyfull and holy momemt as I see the Morning Star after my nightshift. It’s a kind of ritual to watch that star for a few moments and rethink the night and the gift of God that there is always a new day, a new morning. Very nice haiku Kim … thank yoi.
