My thirteenth response to Carpe Diem Winter Retreat 2017: Life is Beautiful
I was tidying up the images on my laptop this week when I found this photograph of Luna and her mother, Tosca, who was killed in May 2016. It made me very sad me but it also inspired this haiku.

Yes, they do, Hank! It has taken Luna a long time to get over Tosca’s death and I’m her mother now.
