clouds of frosty breath
etch silver haiku on leaves
icy serenity
Kim M. Russell, 2017

My response to Carpe Diem #1323 serenity
In a new episode of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai, the Paul Coelho quote has been taken from his novel The Witch of Portobello:
“Naturally, if she respected the brush that she used, she would realize that in order to learn to write she must cultivate serenity and elegance. And serenity comes from the heart.” (Source: The Witch of Portobello – Paulo Coelho)
Love the ‘silver haiku on leaves’

It always amazes me how so much can be conveyed in haiku form, and you’ve done just that with your fine piece. Thoroughly enjoyable, and a really nice image too.
