My response to Carpe Diem #1437 Nazca Culture

Today we have found out about the Nazca lines, created by the Nazca culture between 300 B.C and 600 A.D., which consist of geometric forms and figures, such as a monkey. Apparently there isn’t much known about the Nazca except that it was an ancient civilization that emerged in the province of Nazca around the first century and was located along the Rio Grande between the years 300 BC to 600 A.D. Another thing the Nazca left behind was polychrome pottery decorated with figures of men, animals and plants.
