delicate perfume

My response to Carpe Diem #1482 Lily of the Valley
Today’s image for our inspiration is of a vase of lilies-of-the-valley, which were my grandmother’s favourite flowers and perfume. They are also highly poisonous. Chèvrefeuille has shared a tanka from 2015 which encouraged me to rewrite one of mine from 2017 as a haiku.
a truly well tuned haiku Kim. Thanks for dropping by my blog today
much love…

Lily of the valley is always associated with the time of lace hankies.A gentler time. I did not know lilies of the valley were noxious plants.Nice haiku.
