The First Footstep

one step at a time
walking towards paradise
with benevolence

My response to Carpe Diem #1535 Zarathustra (or Zoroaster) “the first footstep” (Use That Quote)

In the final episode of Carpe Diem’s sixth anniversary month, the letter Z is a quote from Zarathustra (or Zoroaster), an ancient Persian Philosopher:

[…] “Taking the first footstep with a good thought, the second with a good word, and the third with a good deed, I entered paradise.” […] (Quote by Zarathustra)

Our task is to create a haiku or tanka (or other form of Japanese poetry) inspired by this quote.
