evening sea fog
descending into sun-dried grass
sweaty lovers Jane Reichhold
a steep dune path promises
empty beach and ocean breeze
sinking sun
obscured by a veil of mist
melts into the waves
day’s heat lingers in the sand
and whispers in the sea grass Kim M. Russell, 30th June 2019

My response to Carpe Diem #1670 Tan Renga Challenge Month May 2019 (17) sun-dried grass
In the penultimate episode of the Tan Renga Challenge Month May 2019, we have another haiku by Jane Reichhold from which to create a Tan Renga, this time with a twist: not only do we have to add a two-line stanza, but a further three-and two-lined stanzas.
