My response to Carpe Diem #1755 Shepherd’s Purse (1st anniversary prompt)

Happy seventh anniversary to Carpe Diem! In this first episode October, in which we are celebrating the small things of nature and the beauty of the smallest poetry form – the haiku.

The celebration month has started with a familiar haiku:

yoku mireba nazuna hana saku kakine kana

looking closely:
a shepherd’s purse blossoming
beneath the hedge
