My response to Carpe Diem Exploring The Beauty Of Haiku #1827 Paradox
Throughout July, we are exploring the beauty of haiku, and today’s episode begins with a quote from Plato to illustrate what paradox is: “I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing.” – Plato, The Republic
Chèvrefeuille has shared his own and Jane Reichhold’s explanations of paradox, together with examples from Jane and Basho, both of which I really enjoyed.
We are writing paradoxical haiku today!
