Do daffodils
grow in Australia?
Only in springtime.

My response to Carpe Diem Celebrates Its 8th Anniversary October 2020: Carpe Diem #1832 Narcissus (Daffodils)
Today’s prompt is from October 2012, ‘narcissus’ (daffodil), a late winter kigo, because they are are early Spring (or late winter) flowers.
I agree, however my bulbs flowered early this year. It was mid winter when the first daffodil appeared in my garden.
Gorgeous photo.

Yes, in my part of Australia they flower from late winter to early spring. They aren’t native. We have to plant the bulbs in our gardens.
